Clivia Bags |
All delegates will receive a unique document bag as a memento. The bags were recently displayed at a Northern Clivia Club meeting in Pretoria. Conceived and put into effect by committee member Lena van der Merwe, local enthusiasts were invited to sponsor the production costs and each then had a photo of their favourite plants printed on a set number of bags. This means that each full delegate will receive a bag, selected at random, with a picture of one, from about thirty, special clivias. |

Clivia Auction |
Approximately 60 plants will be selected from the submissions by breeders and growers from anywhere in the world. Yes, we mean “anywhere in the world”. The organizing committee has decided that those offering the plants do NOT have to be members of any clivia club or organization. Application forms with full details are available on the site and may be sent in, including photographs, from now until February 25th. |

Clivia Stamps |
The South African Postal Services, at the instigation of the Clivia Society, will be producing a series of six official postage stamps depicting clivias. With a total value of perhaps R12 - R15 (USD2.00 - USD2.50), this will give delegates to the Clivia 2006 Conference the opportunity of purchasing first day covers at the conference. When available, full details will be announced on this site. |
